New to Beale? New to the AF? Come to Heart Link!
New to the military? New to Beale? Or just want to learn more about what resources are available at Beale?
Offered once a quarter, Heart Link is a special program for military spouses. The goal of Heart Link is to strengthen Air Force families through knowledge about military programs, agencies and the mission. This is accomplished through briefings, guest speakers, interactive segments, and tours to base facilities.
The next Heart Link is Tuesday, June 29th.
Heart Link topics range from Air Force customs and courtesies, to how to read a Leave and Earnings Statement, to a game of “Whose Agency is it Anyway?” where spouses match scenarios to the appropriate base agency. They will get an orientation to the military way of life with briefings from
various base agencies including medical, chapel, Airman & Family Readiness,
First Sergeants, legal services, etc.
The Airmen and Family Readiness Center provides breakfast, lunch, and even pays for childcare! All you do is arrange your own childcare, bring in a note fromyour provider with the total cost for the day, and we'll write you a check before you leave! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the community in which you live while meeting other military spouses and making new friends.
Call the Airman and Family Readiness Center for more information or to register at 634-2863.
