Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that we have 3 positions open on the BESC board. If you would like to be more involved in the club's operations then this would be a great idea for you. Here are brief descriptions of each position we have open:

1st Vice President-   You get to assume the duties of the President in the event of her absence. Assists the manger of the Airman's Attic.  Oversees and attends the committee meetings of Welfare, Newsletter, Ways & Means (Operations), and Airmen’s Attic.   Oversees and coordinates Special Activities, (i.e. Bunko, Mom and Tots, etc.)   Takes minutes at meetings in the absence of the Secretary. Writes a monthly article for newsletter. If you really want to get involved then this is the one for you!

Welfare-Organizes and oversees all fundraising events for Welfare funds. Creates & submits all fundraising requests for SVS approval.

Beale Enlisted Spouses Club

The Beale Enlisted Spouses Club (BESC) is a diverse group of spouses dedicated to serving the community and forming connections with other spouses here on Beale Air Force Base.  The members come from all walks and phases of life, representing a variety of skills, talents, abilities and interests.  We range from newlyweds to retirees, from new parents to empty nesters and everywhere in between.

BESC holds monthly general membership meetings and hosts social activities to provide its members with opportunities to build strong personal relationships.  Likewise we conduct regular charitable projects the promote community involvement and goodwill.

Whether you are new to Beale or are an old friend, we hope you will join us as we connect and support the Beale community and hopefully make it a nicer place to live for you, our families, and our airmen.

Membership

Membership in the Beale Enlisted Spouses Club is open to all spouses of enlisted active duty, reserve and guard members.  Associate membership is open to spouses of retired enlisted members, spouses of deceased enlisted members and married active duty members married to enlisted active duty members.

Membership dues are $10.00 per year for E-1 through E-5 and $20.00 per year for E-6 through E-9, retired and associate members.

Not sure if BESC is right for you?  Newcomers are welcome to attend one function as a non-dues paying participant to see what we are all about.

Membership Application

General membership meetings are held monthly. Meetings are generally held the second Monday of the month at the Community Center. A social period is held from 6-6:30pm with the general membership meeting beginning at 6:30pm. Following the meeting is the monthly themed activity and more social time.
