Beale Spotlight: Recce Point Club
The Recce Point Club has much to offer members here on Beale. More than just the gathering place for official base functions, "The Club" provides guests with several dining choices, special events, golf course, meeting space, lounges, catering and recreation.
Choices for eateries may be limited here on base but the Club packs a lot into one facility. Monday through Friday, 11 am-1 pm, customers can enjoy the All-you-can-eat Bistro Lunch Buffet. The menu changes daily and includes Italian, Mediterranean, European and Southern cuisine. Non-members pay $9.95, members save $2.00, the price includes soup, salad and dessert. On the west end of the building is the Coyote Pub and Grill. The lively atmosphere offers, pool tables, darts, bingo, TV's and a jukebox as well as an extensive menu, pizza to go and special events. The Pub also provides free Wi-Fi.
The first Friday of each month is "First Friday" at the Recce Point Club. A different Squadron each month decides on a theme, decorates and hosts the party. Club members have a fun evening, free food, games and prizes. Non-members pay $5.00. The Club host quarterly membership events that bring everyone together for a good time.
Located on the east end of the building is the Coyote Run Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course and driving range. In addition to the course there is a full line of professional equipment available at the Pro Shop. The staff offers individual and group lessons, a kids golf program, club repairs and rentals, tournaments and club championships and special-function arrangements. Green Fees start at $5.00 and annual rates are available.
The Recce Point Club provides members with a beautiful facility that can cater and host official and personal functions. The 9th Reconnaissance Wing holds frequent events, including promotion ceremonies, retirement dinners, award luncheons, farewell dinners, Holiday parties, and the Air Force Ball. Wedding receptions, birthday parties, family reunions, club meetings and fundraisers are just some of the ways club members can utilize the Club's services.
All civilian and contract employees as well as active duty and retired military are eligible for Recce Point Club membership. Guests receive many advantage when they become members of the Recce Point Club. Members at the ranks of E4 and below pay half price dues. All members receive discounts on meals at the Pub, Dining Room and Ramoneda, 10% discounts at participating Force Support facilities, $2.00 off meals at all military functions, free entry to special Club events, 10% off personal functions and no room fees and check cashing privileges worldwide. If a member chooses to apply for the Clubs Chase Bank credit card they will earn cash rewards for every dollar they charge on that credit card.
